How do I switch the lights on and off?
It happens automatically from within the existing lighting circuit. When the truck is opened, the Trunk Interior White LED Strip turns on and illuminates the truck area. When the truck is closed, the Trunk Interior White LED Strip turns off automatically.
Will the brighter lights provided by the Trunk Interior White LED Strip for Model 3 drain my battery appreciably?
No. Even though the lights are brighter, the amount of power they require is still quite small. In addition, the lights are on for relatively brief periods of time (when doors and hatches are open), so no appreciable battery drain will occur.
