Specification

The EVANNEX Trunk Cargo Net is fabricated from black elastic mesh that forms an envelope designed to hold small and moderately sized items securely. The mesh stretches across the trunk space and is secured with quick install and release clip-hooks that attach to custom-designed, fasteners that are available only at EVANNEX.

The unstretched cargo mesh is approximately 43 in. W x 14 in. H (110cm W x 35cm H) and has two mesh sides that form an envelope that opens at the top. The bottom is closed. Two 2-in. wide (5cm) stiff fabric pillars are used to stabilize the ends of the cargo net.

Items are placed into the cargo net ‘envelope,’ and the mesh forms around them, securing them in place. The cargo net is secured using ABS plastic clip hooks that are attached at all four corners of the mesh. Fourcustom-designed ABS plastic fasteners [1.5 in. H x 1.0 in. W x 1.0 in. D (40mm H x 25 mm W x 25 mm D)] are attached to the trunk side panels.

Because Tesla OEM side panels are a combination of plastic and an OEM cloth-covered hardboard material liner, the EVANNEX Trunk Cargo Net fasteners have been designed to accommodate both surface materials. The fasteners are attached using small screws that penetrate the liner material and hold the fastener securely. The clip hooks are then attached to each fastener providing 4-point stability for the Trunk Cargo Net. The hooks can be unclipped in seconds, allowing access to the complete trunk area for other purposes.

That depends on the size of the items. You can fit 4 or 5 small grocery bags, or multiple sports items (a football, frisbees, sports shoes, towels, softballs, even baseball bats, etc.) or some combination.

Can the Trunk Cargo Net be repositioned forward in the trunk and used as a barrier to stop larger items placed on the trunk floor from sliding back toward the trunk hatch?

Yes. The Trunk Cargo Net can be positioned for that purpose.Using the same installation approach described in the Installation Instructions, position the cargo net fasteners forward in the location you desire and fasten them in place.
