The Model S/X cars run on a suspension layout that Powerflex recognized from well-known and much-loved European brands, but weigh in at about 30% heavier than a similarly sized 5 Series sedan.

With astonishing acceleration figures, hefty curb weight, and stock bushings made of natural rubber, its no surprise that these cars run through bushings and ball joints rather quickly leading to knocks and clunks from the suspension, and accelerated tire wear.
